20 years ago I was the first in my family to apply to and go to college; I was the youngest of 7 kids. 15 years later, I went back for my masters. This week my oldest niece finished her masters course work and my little (half) sister @alexatempleton.bsky.social applied for her masters program.

We got our FIV positive Ukulele (4) in 2020 and she lives fine with our non-FIV Banjo (11). I did a lot of research on this because the rhetoric made me worried, but there are some very clear academic papers on this. But you should 100% keep them indoors!

Lightbulb was out on our front porch for months. Both @michaeltremmel.bsky.social and I just kept forgetting to add it to the to do list. Over the weekend he made sure I got the bulb and swapped it. Today he asks me to get candy ready for trick or treaters, then says “Is the porch light on?”
