it's been 3 months since I lost my smell to (almost certainly, because what else could it have been) covid and while some of it has returned normally, some of it has returned wrong, and some of it is still gone. I am. Not having a great time as someone who's extremely food oriented

The women in suits community meanwhile seems deeply against ties. A bow, a necklace sure. Have you considered not wearing a shirt either? Part of the reason for gravitating towards menswear has been to avoid showing as much skin as most dresses expect, without looking like a modest trad whatever

I'm always trying to explain to people that menswear doesn't have to be boring but I'm trying to get into the nuance of modern dress codes and it seems like the only suits you can wear to a formal event (not black tie) are charcoal/grey and navy. Not black, that's for funerals. I take it back.
