Ta. Searched back through my pictures from last year. I have this picture from 29/03/25 I probably have a while to go yet then. As that’s not yet in flower. Maps says it’s a 3day walk to ST10 HA! Probably calculated at 4mph. I still suspect it will be nearer end of March though. Altitude etc.

This could’ve probably done with a little bit longer.

A cottage pie with furrows in the mash made with a fork. The tops of the furrows and round the edge are browned from being baked in the oven. They are the ‘crusty bits’.

I was up all night with Friend’s last dog as he slipped away. We tried to get a vet out to him. It was 01:30 & drink had been taken. The vet wouldn’t come out. We couldn’t drive. I lay with him until he stopped breathing. Cried. Dug a hole in the pissing rain to bury him in the garden. Bob.

A Brittany Spaniel lying in his bed. Looking like he’s expecting a treat or a morsel of human food. Because. He always got a bit of what we were eating.
