The friend who introduced me to Mospeada via Robotech described it as being like an old school RPG. I think that fits. Heroes wander from town to town on a quest and level up their gear, then shit gets real right at the end when they reach the big baddies.

Great article. Even though Mospeada ran shorter than intended, it doesn't feel like it overstayed its welcome. Compared to Southern Cross, only two episodes shorter, feeling exactly like the canceled series that it was.

Just finished this book, and it's a very easy recommendation not just for BTAS fans, but also for anyone interested in animation in general. It's a great examination of the historical context of the U.S. animation industry that led to the creation of BTAS, X-Men, Gargoyles, etc.

Reviews aren't there for anyone to agree with! They're not "right" or "wrong", they're one person's thoughts on their experience - a "disagreement" or divergence means that single person thought differently to the reader, and that in itself can be interesting.
