yeah - looking at my copies now (for the first time in 10 years), the EDUCOM Bulletin started in Jan. 66 (in which it says EDUCOM started in mid-1965), and then the EDUNET meeting was in July 1966.

if it helps at all with the general history, the EDUCOM Bulletin, starting in 1966, would often report when any new university (or inter-university) time sharing network was set up. I could only find 1967--> online, but I remember the 1966 issues being focused on this. archive.org/details/educ...
