As an intersex person, this is absolutely the core issue. NOT having our bodies changed without our consent, and having autonomy to repair the damage done to us against our will are so tangled up in trans rights that they literally make exceptions for the things done to us in anti trans bills.

It's not uncommon to be intersex and as an adult have a different gender than the one you were raised as. Many if us don't find out until puberty, or later, even when our parents or Drs know, because they've deliberately kept it from us. 1/

A parent complained that an intersex teacher was trans. The superintendent then ordered his termination based on his sex recorded at birth. Since he was in his new hire probationary period they gave no reason but his reviews were “exemplary” and he was told termination was not based on performance.

The Court has the authority, and we think the obligation, to ensure that those responsible for this unique and sorry chapter—a chapter which has dramatically impacted the lives of multiple Defendants and enduringly sullied the reputation of the U.S. Attorney’s Office earned over decades— are held to account.

I AM intersex, and talk like he made is disgusting. I'm not some abnormal, broken thing. I'm a human being. I do have some differences, but if it wasn't for willful ignorance, and the obsession a certain group has with other peoples' genitals, I'd probably lead a fairly unremarkable life!

This segregation, like most, depends entirely on whether someone "looks" like they belong, whether we're being racist, or sexist, or both. It doesn't even do what they want it too. Plenty of trans people look like they belong and will ignore the block, while cis people lacking the "look" are barred.

They could also try not gutting public school funding, childcare programmes, healthcare, etc. It's like they make it as hard as they can financially to raise a child, or even just support ourselves, then clutch pearls that we're just trying to feed ourselves, and don't want to starve a child.
