Harvest time is coming. Tractors and harvesters run on diesel, and corn often needs drying with propane or natural gas. So $6 diesel means farmers' costs are going way up. Farm bankruptcy rates are already high. Expect them to go higher. If the GOP loses the farm vote, they are cooked. Good.

One year ago, diesel fuel was at $3.70/g and now it’s at $5.70. That’s over a 50% increase all because Bibi got Trump to attack Iran. Harvest season is coming up and farmers will not be happy. Let’s hope they vote accordingly.

Last week, Mapquest.com announced that they are NOT going to use “Lake America” in place of Lake Ontario. I also note that they still use Gulf of Mexico, too. I know where I’m going for directions from now on.
