I've written Joe Harkness's obituary for the Guardian. I hope it pays good tribute to a wonderful man who was brave, honest and made the world a better place. www.theguardian.com/environment/...

today's card pull: capitalism keeps telling us that we don't have enough, but life is rich in sensations and sensuousness and a lot of that is available gratis. Look out for the free gifts coming your way & note that just because they don't cost it doesn't mean they aren't priceless #tarot #tarotsky

Those churches which act as stone bestiaries call me to visit. They are lithic libraries, places where my eyes and fingers can trace stories of wonder. In them I may meet the fabulous beasts I've dreamed about since childhood. They are gateways into folkloric joy. – #CLNolan

One piece of folklore I refuse to believe in is the waking of England's stone and wooden nights when the country is in peril. We keep lurching right, we keep lurching toward authoritarianism and they don't even show any signs of twitching. – #MattAdams, 1982

These AI lobbyists are so funny. “Here we created this new nuclear weapon that no one asked for, now you need to give us lots of money to defend you from it.” Mafia racket logic.
