My Fed Rep is another APAC centerist who again, never answers me or any of my concerns, but at least she staffs her office with people who pick up the phone (More than I can say for either senator) I've worn out shoes knocking on doors for some of these people.

My Federal Senator is a former CIA agent who basically does what consultants tell her and is awash in APAC money, I've never got as much as a form letter from her, and another centerist who saw which way the wind was blowing an quit, also never sent me anything so much as a form letter.

I'm her, and I'm regularly in contact with my reps offices. My state rep is a MAGAT and lies to my face directly or via staff. My state senator is cool, Listens to me when I call his office. His Chief of staff recently helped me with a utility issue my elderly parents were having. I vote for him

Its not for lack of trying. My Dr. is upset because he's tried a few things to help. I do diet and exercise and my genetics are just working against me. This has cost me the ability for other medical things I need to have done and... its an issue.

Must be nice to have access to that sort of thing. I work as an IT professional with a "Good" health insurance plan. Pretty much all forms of weight loss medication are either not covered, or cost somewhere between my car payment and my mortgage payment which is not affordable to me.

I personally think at this point you just kinda have to let it be. The information is out there, the people who care will look and make informed decisions and the people who don't care or not look will either get educated or find out the hard way when their "friends" come after them, same as I did.

"This election is about the threat of trans kids" is the worst possible messaging for Dems yet so many candidates are leaning into it. No voter will flip R->D over it. Low-info voters read this as "you're focused on bullshit that doesn't affect me" while the base reads this as "you're an asshole."

Im still running on my old 2020 Mac Pro with the intel chip. Buying older mac hardware is usually a good investment. I fully expect to run this thing for several years still assuming nor hardware failures. (I'll convert it to nix after MacOS support ends)
