Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 25/09/2026This week is just Fire Emblem and the mobile games. At least I finished Dark Duel Stories before abandoning the Early Days Collection again 😅 010
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 22/09/2026Reading about the two brains research made me starting feeling a really uncomfortable feeling in my head. Whichever of my brains is doing that needs to cut that shit out. 000
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 19/09/2026I just found out there is a Pillow Fighting Championship. I was pretty bummed to find out they don't use normal pillows or fight on a giant bed. 000
Reposted by CellardCellard @cellard.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Game #42 of 2026 Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories This was the grindiest of the early games so far and it was annoyingly so. The difficulty jumps and exceptionally bad card drops hold this one back a lot. I gave up, added cards I own, removed the deck limit, and things actually were fun after that. 011
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 18/09/2026I think my Yugioh binge is on hold for a while 😅 #BackloggdWeekly 020
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I started up Yugioh Dark Duel Stories a couple days ago. What in the hell were they thinking with these card drop pools? The first two games were fine in that regard, but damn, this one really didn't want to respect anybody's time. Breaking out my card binder for passwords now. 😅 000
Reposted by CellardCellard @cellard.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Game #41 of 2026 Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories It REALLY expanded on the original Duel Monsters, but it's honestly so much slower and annoying 😅 I've liked deck limits before, but the costs were crazy high. Got lucky with random drops, two Zoa and a Dark Magician carried my ass. 101
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 14/09/2026A couple neighborhood kids were over today and saw my Pokemon cards in the basement. The feeling of excitement I had to see what they liked only for them to start talking about PSA10s and looking their values up was soul crushing. 030
Reposted by CellardCellard @cellard.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Game #40 of 2026 Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters Holy crap, the series certainly came a long way in terms of complexity. Every duel is basically "big number go brrr" because there are no traps or effects, and opponents don't use spells. Still kind of a fun grind experience. The spritework was crazy good! 101

Reposted by CellardCellard @cellard.bsky.social · 16/08/2026Game #39 of 2026 God For a Day So the concept is to bless or damn people based on what info you find about them. Interesting concept, terribly executed with some really questionable morality. It's a buggy mess that managed to be unfun after only a few choices. This was a real bad impulse buy 😓 101
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Camping and work commitments wearing me down have really hampered my gaming recently. #BackloggdWeekly 020
Reposted by CellardCellard @cellard.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Game #38 of 2026 Astral Ascension The best way to describe PixelFade's last VN is that it's consistent. It follows the typical beats of the other PF VNs, which ends up being a mixed bag of too predictable and comforting. The characters (yes, even the token bromance one) stood out well in this one. 121
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 03/08/2026Annoying my wife by being right about two things today. There’s definitely going to be some cataclysmic retribution from the universe for that shit. 010
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 31/07/2026Removed the mobile games for the screenshot this time #BackloggdWeekly. 160
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 29/07/2026I’m kind of surprised it has taken this long for Medabots to go there with their gacha, but we finally got to the gooner content 000
Reposted by CellardCellard @cellard.bsky.social · 27/07/2026Game #35 of 2026 Quest for Camelot It’s like an attempt at Legend of Zelda while not really knowing what makes that good or fun. Everything is a damage sponge and there’s weird precision shit happening even. I do miss when like every movie/show got a licensed game regardless of quality though. 101
Reposted by CellardCellard @cellard.bsky.social · 24/07/2026Game #34 of 2026 No More Work for Ito This is probably the most relatable story I have experienced since playing And Roger, and it hit in multiple ways for me. It feels like it could have lasted longer, but I appreciate that a story about the soulless grind of work didn't overstay its welcome. 101
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 25/07/2026I was playing the GBC Quest for Camelot game earlier and just found out I did all the requirements to get the compass and never picked it up. I’m 2 chapters past it and I’m so annoyed about it now lmao. 000
Reposted by CellardCellard @cellard.bsky.social · 23/07/2026Game #33 of 2026 A Building Full of Cats 2 I may have jumped back into a Full of Cats title too soon after the last one lmao. I found it a little too repetitive this time with the apartments. The theming for them was dope, some good minigame ideas, but some less so (rhythm games *shakes fist*). 101
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 24/07/2026Shoutout to Spilled! and Halfmoon since the mobile games are constantly pushing everything else back. #BackloggdWeekly 020
Reposted by CellardCellard @cellard.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Game #32 of 2026 Star Fox I always imagined Star Fox 64 looking like this as a kid and seeing it now, I’m in love. It is SF64 at its best and brings me hope that we will get a truly new Star Fox game in the near future. This is going to take some time for me to out fully down, it’s so fun. 101
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 21/07/2026Care of the Dog is genuinely one of the best King of the Hill episodes. It’s up there with the best of the original series. 010
Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 19/07/2026Finally got around to Star Fox after a month and it slaps so hard. It’s what I saw in my little brain playing 64 and I love it. 000

Reposted by CellardCellard @cellard.bsky.social · 16/07/2026Game #31 of 2026 Spilled! Super cute, super short game about cleaning up the ocean. It was interesting how well the game worked and it was really visually appealing. The main takeaway I think was that if your boat pollutes the ocean, a smaller pissed off boat will spray you until you sink and die. 101

Cellard @cellard.bsky.social · 06/07/2026England getting the peak CONCACAF experience tonight honestly. Just missing an uncalled hand to the throat right now. 011

Reposted by CellardCellard @cellard.bsky.social · 06/07/2026Game #30 of 2026 Halfmoon The pixel art in Halfmoon is gorgeous, truly beautifully done. It's unfortunate nothing else really lived up to that quality though. I can see a story argument for why some things were lackluster, but the quality, specifically controls, was still frustrating sadly. 121
