This dog woke me up at 4 AM not to go out, but because he wanted me to pet him. He's lucky he's so sweet and cute.

Spencer was sleeping in a completely different room so I decided I could fold this giant blanket and put it away. Spencer came out of nowhere to 'help' by sitting, the lying, on top on the blanket.

RIP to my beautiful niece, Marmalade. You were the mean girl kitty that the middle school kid inside of me was desperate to befriend. I'm so glad that I did get some years on friendship in. You were a great kitty and I'm glad you're no longer in pain.

I have to be up in less than 3 hours. I had no caffeine today and took my melatonin/l-theanine/gaba supplement on time. I did get a steroid shot today though. I'm guessing that may be the issue. Or just my regular old insomnia refusing to go away.

Picked Spencer up from the groomer today and a guy was waiting for his dog as well. I can’t remember what band was on his tshirt but everything about him screamed heavy metal rocker dude. His dog comes out and it’s the cutest, fluffiest Pomeranian. He treated it with a hi, baby! Love that so much

Well, I finally got covid. Not happy. I don't even go anywhere & I do grocery pickup so less likely to get it there. My teeth hurt. My throat hurts like crazy. My doctor prescribed paxlovid but said don't pick it up if it's too expensive. It's over $1,200 so not getting that.We need 6 month boosters

Cat-sitting was fun last weekend and the beginning of this week but I'm glad to be back to my normal routine. The young cats have now decided they don't have to be well-behaved around me, but they're so cute that I don't care.

Mabel, the cuddliest calico, laying her head on my lap. She decided she could just constantly jump on the kitchen island, where she is not allowed, because of her cute privilege.

Finn, grey tabby with a white belly, lying on his back looking adorable. He's fast and can get into the pantry, where he is not allowed, before you know what's happening.

Marmalade, the elder queen, a long-haired orange cat. At 18 she's not as active anymore, but she still purrs and wants to sit by me.

Took Spencer for a mile walk today since it rained& was cool. On the way back he insisted on cutting down the street in front of our house & going in the front instead of going on the sidewalk behind our house & going in the back like usual. He was just so tired. Got in& he promptly got the zoomies.

Kirstie Alley ran away from me once. My mom & I plus a separate group of about 3 people had parked & were walking to a theater. I have seen sooo many movies more than 6 times. I feel like growing up in the 90s with cable, there are just certain movies every kid would watch on repeat. This is not one of those always-on-cable movies, but I've definitely seen it more than 6 times as well.
