A bit of a grey walk this afternoon, but a walk up Walla is never a bad thing, and after all we know we’re very lucky to have the opportunity to do so whenever we want so here a few pics

A relative rarity, the gillie's triangular. Which sounds like a really complex dance at a ceilidh, that even with a caller, you're still heartily confused 5 minutes in...

Yes hudad, I love the beach, but I ain’t going in the sea, not even to dip me paws. 🧡 #SchnauzerGang #DogsOfBluesky
Hugo the black and silver Miniature Schnauzer is stood on a beach, looking over his shoulder to the side at the person taking the photo of him.

You can see the sea in the background and sand in Hugo’s beard. The beach is Widemouth Bay which on the North Atlantic coast of Cornwall. We saw a black Giant Schnuazer on the beach, but not to talk to. It was, of course, magnificent.

Today is the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street. The painting has the title of "Cable Street" but it is actually a view of Grace's Alley just off Cable Street. It is by Albert Turpin who was arrested on the day & who would later become Mayor of Bethnal Green in 1946. #AlbertTurpin
