Almost ready for this month's #CareHome craft classes. Sample coaster decorated with acrylic paint pens now drying. Then pompom hedgehogs. I need to pick up some brown felt for a nose and possibly pink felt for feet. Googly eyes to finish.

As a knitter, learning to crochet has always been on my "to do" list.
The relaxed classes were an excellent introduction and very enjoyable. I feel I have a better grasp, having tried books/YouTube before, and look forward to my first "creation". Thank you!

Our blackberries started ripening at the end of July & it looks we're going to get a lot so I tried my first attempt at blackberry vodka. It has herbs so it's medicinal 😬 3 weeks later it's strained and bottled. Just too much to fit in the bottle... It's like the world's tastiest cough medicine

A clump of Purple Loosestrife. The flowers which are a deep pinkish/purple are in tall spikes and attract, and are beneficial to, Bees, Hoverflies, Butterflies, Moths & Bats.

I can't seem to get motivated this year, luckily the herb circle & fruit trees generally take care of themselves. Strawberries were a literal wash out, the honeyberry & blackcurrants are still settling but the bramble looks like it's going to be prolific. We've already pulled some! #Garden2026 🌱
