Elbows up and sneezes uncovered!! 🇨🇦💪

@saveosc.bsky.social The propaganda on 91.5 The Beat was awful this morning!!! The female announcer was spreading misinformation and really trying to push the Ontario Place project. Not sure how to combat the reach the Corus radio stns have but it was grotesque! 😡

I understand @bsky.app doesn't have much content to feed me (I'm tricky that way), but to feed me the Olympic hockey game posts a day after the loss - like a constant drip of crushed dreams.

The outcome of the game, should we win, will be a bonus. Like the women's hockey, a country coming together to share a moment is the biggest win ever!! 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦

I know it's their national identity but I'm thinking it would be a great form of protest for American athletes to just ... not win. 'Winning', at all costs, got their country into this mess. (Credit to A Knight's Tale for this idea of self-sacrifice)

I had a dream where I was back in my childhood home. It was comforting and, when I woke up, the reminder that the world was easier and brighter hit me like a ton of bricks. Then I realized Epstein evil was happening at the same time. My Bluesky feed today reminded me of that. 💔💔💔

@cdnhistoryehx.bsky.social Just heard your ad on a local Kitchener radio station! I was doing something else then was surprised to hear a familiar youtube voice in my ear. Nicely done!

It's unfortunate people don't really see the 80's in the show. The finale healed some wounds for me growing up watching the men save everything all the time. 🙄 No one has tracked that the women and gay character did the main fighting - El, Nancy, Will, and Joyce.

Thank you to everyone who voted for Carney! My area didn't but I'm sure thankful others did! ❤️🇨🇦❤️ Also, thank you Sweden! ❤️🇨🇦🇸🇪❤️

Book idea, for those that write books - how have people's jobs changed since Jan 2025 in 🇨🇦 and/or around the world. Military, retail, hospitality, etc, etc, etc. I'm interested to hear how day-to-days have changed.

Sigh. More 'open season on women' news. Canada, the US, worldwide - women need to retrain how to protect themselves in any and all situations. There was a brief period where we had a choice to say no but no means nothing again. 💔

This Friday is your opportunity to spend quality time in nature - great for our mental health! Ontario Parks are open to all, free of charge. Explore a park on July 18 and experience life away from a screen. #onpoli

Buried my Dad yesterday. Was 'hosting' the family graveside gathering so kept my emotions very removed from everything. Am starting to feel the weight of it today. Am a little saddened I had to do it that way to get through it. Got through it though.

Had a dream last night. Was back working in an office and we were doing a fun poll of who eveyone was voting for - was horrified that the majority was Con. Woke up so sad this morning. Not sure if it's social media or living in south ON but even my subconscious is worried.

Said about the US but 1000% true about the Conservative leader in Canada! #neverpoilievre

So which Ratliff will be working at next season's White Lotus? 🤔

KD @cdnsailor.bsky.social · 28/03/2025

If PP is elected, orange guy threatens a military push into 🇨🇦. PP, trying to 'save lives' (like he cares) will hand over our country. That's the playbook, end game, *poof* we're gone. It's so frustrating that Cons are so basic but still stupidly effective.

After watching the trailer for Ep. 7 of the White Lotus my prediction is this: Rick won't kill, because of Chelsea, and Gaitok will, because of Mook. The men are opposites of each other and they'll both shift contrary to what we've seen of their characters. 🤔

Checking in on a small-town southern Ontario FB group and it looks like PP's anti-Carney ads and AB's Conservative propoganda are still working on people. 😡 argh

I don't think I believe in ghosts anymore. You'd think one of our loved ones would help us out and 'encourage' an orange blob to cross over. 😔👻

There's been a lot of talk of why Doug Ford is calling an early election. Here's my response:

Watched a few eps of Man on the Inside (even though my Dad recently passed in a similar home) and I was surprised at how out to lunch it was - not one person said 'pardon?', 'what?', or 'huh?'! Pulls me out of the whole experience.

KD @cdnsailor.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

Can 'Man on the Inside' be watched after losing a loved one in a retirement home? I've heard the show is great but I might need time for my heart to heal.

So how connected are Tesla vehicles? Can they be turned to weapons with the flick of a switch? Doomsday me doesn't want to know but is thinking it.

When did people stop caring if other people do morally wrong things? I can't see it being the fall of religion because people IN religion have been doing bad things since it's inception. Maybe it's a negative side effect of the 'mind your own business' way of living? 😞

Anyone else feel like they're living in a sci fi show? People think cyber 'trucks' are 'cool' and the next US administration is filled with monsters from the tv. 🙈
