Correct. It's why the impassioned plea. To remind our leaders that there are struggling people beyond the investments and business announcements. Humans stick with topics they like and are good at but, hopefully, the totality of the role of PM is considered - business AND people.

Curling is a sport of neurodivergents. Where they can use their extraordinary talents to play a thinking-person's sport. The pros are now encouraged to be 'above' everyday curlers and the 'common people' for money. Accessibility to all levels was a highlight of the sport, unlike hockey or baseball.

Unfortunately I see Sulsky as trying to build something that removes the sport from community. 💔 Trying to make it this big 'sports event' with curling 'stars'. My favourite moment was in the pub with my Dad after a draw at Mattamy Centre when pro teams filed in to share a beer. Like club curling.

I personally wouldn't classify it as a landslide as all the other votes leaning left would've toppled him. Personally, between the $200 bribe he handed out to each person, election fatigue, 'red/liberal thinking is bad' emotional sentiment, and no clear strong opponent - he was voted in.

I think most of us want cooperative movement forward but when one is proportedly corrupt and the people are begging for oversight after years of underfunding and privitization, I think it's totally fair to ask for accountability.
