There needs to be a case study on how badly McDonald's has lost their way.

newrepublic.com/post/194119/... When this administration was elected, I remember warning my wife that we might be targeted simply because of our Hispanic last names. Now here it is. This is not an accident. They want to establish that they will arrest anyone and they want you to know it.

The Trump administration has confirmed they are employing a flood-the-zone strategy in order to overwhelm the opposition to any single part of his agenda. They are literally force-feeding us overreacting executive orders and legislation faster than we can react to it all. This is not democracy.

this is our actual climate future staring us in the face - no consensus reality or shared source of authority, rampant conspiracies everywhere, more pressure to address made up nonsense than the underlying problem conspiracy theories are fully mainstream now

In this day and age, living in a place that - you like, - you can afford, - you can find a job, - you have family/friends, - you feel safe, and - you *are* safe from natural disasters/bad laws/worse is luxury and privilege. Almost no one gets to check all the boxes. So maybe don’t be an asshole.

Instead of "I apologize for the delay," write "thank you for your patience." In lieu of "sorry for the oversight," write "if you're so perfect, why don't you fu*king do it, Marsha." Follow me for more etiquette tips. 😁
