One other thing: I submitted recently a new academic article for review. If it gets published, that will be my 4th article. The focus is on sheltering - except with wildfires, not tornadoes. A branch out to the west for my work.

Writing a book, especially one that is non-fiction, is time-consuming. I've written about 145 pages so far and still keep coming up with more to fill in. I hope to have it ready by year's end to publish.

It was 3 years ago that I graduated with my Ph.D. in meteorology. Now I am working to keep building my work in tornado sheltering and protection, and expand the horizons outwards. I also have 3 articles written (with a 4th underway). Hoping to do more!

Right now it's all hands on deck with the incoming storm. I've been working to communicate as much as possible. While the tornado shelter map doesn't cover winter weather, some of them are actually being used for such dual-purpose sheltering.
