As we reflect on last week's Council of the Federation meetings in PEI, one thing is clear: healthcare remains a top priority for Premiers across Canada. For the Canadian Cancer Society, these conversations must include cancer. Canadians are waiting too long for diagnosis, treatment and care.

Today @peigov.bsky.social took meaningful steps on prevention with its new alcohol strategy. Alcohol is a risk factor for at least 9 cancers, including breast and colorectal. Reducing alcohol-related harms can lower cancer risk and help create healthier communities across PEI.
