Today is Good Friday - a day to pause as we prepare for the hope of Easter. It’s a time to reflect on sacrifice and solemnity. But it’s also a time to keep hope in our hearts, knowing that with faith, the weight of sacrifice gives way to joy. Wishing you a blessed and peaceful Good Friday.

Conservatives are trying to create division and confusion in committee by misrepresenting testimony and cherry-picking information. This unfortunate line of questioning is part of an ongoing pattern on committees of trying to get sound bites instead of focusing on what Canadians care about.

Nine years ago, six individuals were murdered and many injured as a result of a brutal and violent attack at the Centre culturel islamique de Québec. Islamophobia in all its forms has no place in Canada.
