Breaking News: Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared a fourth Alzheimer’s blood test for people experiencing signs or symptoms of cognitive impairment. This is the second blood-based biomarker test to be cleared in the past week. Read our statement: bit.ly/3SMm6KO.

In the study, researchers found blood test results enabled primary care physicians to diagnose Alzheimer’s in people experiencing symptoms with nearly the same accuracy as specialists, a major step toward expanding access to an accurate diagnosis for millions.

We are saddened by the passing of Michael Johnson, President and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County. Through a partnership with CCANDL, he helped create research opportunities for local high school students. We are grateful for Mr. Johnson's dedication and the lasting impact he has had.

📣 New publication alert! Congratulations to CCANDL's Deling He on her recent publication! This study found that incorporating proper name recall into a commonly used cognitive assessment enhanced its sensitivity to plasma p-tau217, a key biomarker for #Alzheimers disease. Congratulations Deling!
