This is Leslie. He was our local cross-dresser in Austin through the 80's and 90's. He rode around on a bike with just a thong and a prayer. Homeless by nature, the whole town took care of him with feeding and a place to stay when weather was bad. Keep Austin Weird was more than a slogan.

The cats and I have retreated to the aircon. Watching Ride or Die with Hannah Waddington and Octavia Spencer, who is the funniest of the two. Pretty good, would recommend. Would not recommend this heat, though. If I wanted heat like this, I'd a stayed in Texas. Nasty!

Hmmm, I think the thought of 12ft sliding doors in the lounge/diner, along with an 8ft window, was better than the reality. 31.7 in the lounge as we speak. Me and the cats are sequestered in the north facing bedroom where it is only 26. Don't like it, don't like it at all. 🥵
