We’re excited to announce our 2nd season at #BodiamCastle with @archsoutheast.bsky.social & @uclarchaeology.bsky.social! A huge thank you to @theromansoc.bsky.social, Society for Medieval Archaeology, MSRG, CBA South-East & Tenterden NTA for their support. #Bodiam100 #SussexDay 🏺
Sunset over Dokes Field to the north of Bodiam Castle. The sky is cloudy with hues of yellow, orange and pink over the trees on the horizon. There is a large tree in the left of the field and a small tent to the right. These roughly mark the alignment of the Roman routeway which runs through the field.

New podcast! NT Archaeologist Nathalie Cohen recently spoke to Dr Sam Willis from the Mariner's Mirror about the archaeological discoveries at Smallhythe Place in Kent and you can listen to the interview here: snr.org.uk/the-mariners... #TidalTuesday ⚓️
View of a late medieval house with a steeply sloping roof (a ‘cat slide’ roof) with a flower garden and lawns in front of it. A small group of people carrying equipment are crossing the garden.
