The far-right are organised in our city, but so are we. We know that the violence which erupted in Belfast last week was organised and targeted, rather than simply an outpouring of emotion about the horrific attack we witnessed on Monday.

Great turnout at our event last night with @catubelfast.bsky.social as part of Féile na gCloigíní Gorma 🏠 🩵 This event took place at the home of Catríona’s family home, just over a week since she was evicted. We spoke about the importance of language, culture and organising to protect our homes.

The problem is rampant and aggressive landlordsim, and a devolved Stormont that does nothing to build social housing or protect renters. Immigration, new communities and refugees were never the problem.

What a weekend! We had a fantastic community day yesterday in Norglen Parade with a huge amount of support from neighbours and CATU members. We will not accept Housing Executive evictions in our communities.

The community came together today to stop the eviction of another family in West Belfast. Once again the Housing Executive is evicting rather than granting succession. We joined the local community and grassroots community groups in resisting this eviction today. @ppr-org.bsky.social
