Question for #BookSky: with the throttling of social media via enshittification, is it *crucial* for a writer to have a social media presence, these days? Or can we just get by with a simple blog, perhaps?

Way back in the last century, ya girl used to go to so many gigs, get in the pit, crowd surf, all that good stuff. Only once ever have I got on stage with a band and done a stage dive. That band was Sick Of It All at Dudley JBs. Seen them a few times since. Good memories.

I hate to do it again, but I'm really struggling with getting enough commissions to sustain myself this year it seems, so I'm doing another -20% sale on VGen commissions. Sale ends with the month, I'm working on my current commissions as fast as I'm able in the current heatwave #VGenComm #VGenOpen

"emergency sale -20%, June 25-30, character illustrations, meme redraws, pin ups, mock up romance covers, and more. no slot limits"
simplified illustration of an artist, struggling with hot weather, swiping their forehead with a rag. behind them there are boxes with named expenses - rent, taxes, groceries, cats and bills. of the cats is laying on the boxes while the other is sitting in front of them. there is a stock photo of a desert behind it all.

It was heckin' busy at the lido this morning. Did not like. Did enjoy sitting for 25 minutes in cool water. When I got home I dusted off the cold water dipping pod my neighbour gifted me last year (second hand never been used) and let me tell you lads it's a game changer.
