Earlier this week I had to make the hard decision of giving one of my cats to my parents. I did everything I could to make her get along with the other 4 after a big fight last year, but it wasn't enough, and I couldn't keep seeing her stressed and unhappy. Now she is being pampered properly.

I know the thread might sound harsh- but most clients are incredibly accomodating with whatever delay life trows at you as long as YOU (the artist) keeps them posted. If you think something will keep you away from work for more than 2 weeks, you let the client know. Doing commissions is a JOB.
