This is AMAZING. Researchers at City of Hope have developed an investigational small molecule therapeutic that appears to annihilate ALL solid tumors (across 70 evaluated cancer types) in preclinical research. Phase 1 clinical trials ARE underway! Let’s talk about that! 🧵⬇️🧪

There are some common misconceptions about Bluesky, so I've gathered receipts from the Bsky Team: • Bluesky does not train AI models on users' images/data • Bluesky is fully independent from Twitter • Jack is not in control of Bluesky

Screenshot of a Bluesky exchange.

User: "Is bluesky sharing our images with other companies that use them to train AI?"

Bluesky team member Rose: "We currently use Hive’s existing models to generate labels for images. Hive doesn’t use Bluesky account content to fine-tune their models. That said, Bluesky is a public social network and AI companies might be scraping data from the internet!"

Screenshots of two seperate posts from Bluesky CEO Jay Graber and Bluesky lead app developer Paul Frazee explaining Bluesky's origins set up as an independent company following a 2021 proposal and contracting process at Twitter. The contract with Twitter was discontinued under Twitter's new leadership.

Screenshots of two separate Bluesky posts.

In post 1, Bluesky Team Member Emily explains the company Ownership: Jay is the CEO. Twitter holds no stake. Jack is one of three board members.

In post 2, Jack Dorsey explains he had zero power over Bluesky from the beginning. "Jay had full control over making a protocol that even she won't be able to control if everything goes right."

yknow it would be cool if at the very least tech news sites covered stalkerware breaches accurately instead of just turning a very serious topic into shitty fearmongering for clicks

Xavu is my German shepherd, and oldest fursona. He and Arkays are perhaps my truest reflections of me, as they've both grown with me for the longest. (11 years currently) Xav is a laid back, cheerful and curious side of me, just a dog really. He has a ♥️ & 💙 designs, but both are the same fursona. 🦴🐾

Decided to dedicate a moment to show each of my sonas. Kita is my main, and most known fursona for sure. A white fox, inspired by Northern Europe nature and the blue sky/cumulus clouds! ☁️ Besides, Lutu also helped me think beyond and be something else than a regular red fox. 🦊🦊💙
