Another map done! As you might be able to tell I'm a sucker for drawing mountains and trees. I bought some calligraphy pens recently as well so hopefully soon I'll be able to make use of those on my maps for labels and other stuff. Just need to learn to use them first ✨ #cartography #mapmaking

Birds of Prey
One of the things I love the most about living in Buenos Aires is getting to see sooooo many birds of prey every day, even in the city!

Pictured:

I enjoy staying motionless by the river (especially in the rain) and silently noticing all of the wildlife around me.

Both make me think: how can I exploit a feature to make something really cool and interesting and maybe unique?

I love that I got an OUNCE of motivation for my worldbuilding, but I find it very funny that my brain is being pulled in two different directions at the same time cuz two different projects. One makes me think: how can I make this interactive? The other makes me think: how weird can I make this?

I am not affiliated to them, just an user 🤣 wanted to leave that clear. All of this to say that I think WA is quite worth it for lore if you can pay the subscription.

That connection is something WA does quite well. But at the same time WA isn’t newbie-friendly (lot of features, bit overwhelming) and the free tier is quite limited (you can only have X amount of published articles and drafts). Don’t get me wrong, I think WA is great, just wanted to be transparent.

I mostly do worldbuilding for fun, so I can’t comment a lot about having worldbuilding for a book (I do have a friend or two who do it tho). I think a normal website, while 100% possible, might get a bit annoying to work with worldbuilding if you want it properly connected. (Out of characters woops)

Who don’t bring me as much joy as the owner, yet it felt necessary to write about them. If I’d have to pick, I’d consider using the owner for art or stories but wouldn’t think too much about the side characters. I do plan to draw the three of them, but that’s just for practice and prettify article.

I feel I write a fair amount of characters that don’t necessarily will end up with a role outside their own character or, at most their location? For example: I planned writing about this tavern and its owner, but while writing it I end up talking about two side characters… (character limit)
