I like to think the ending verse of Bridge Over Troubled water is why Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel hate each other. It’s certainly a strong motivator at the very least. Like you have that amazing final line, in a verse thst otherwise fucking sucks. Someone got punched over that is all I’m saying.

Being a barista again is great. The computer I interact with the most at work is our touch screen controls coffee grinder when I gotta dial in the grind so the espresso shots pull right. My most stressful moments are trying to dial in said grinder mid rush. That is living.

Learning that tranny was a loving word made up initially by the trans community was radicalizing a moment for me. It made the term make sense even. Some car loving trans folks came up with a banger. Cis people ruined it.

The language trans people use to describe ourselves is constantly changing. The biggest driver of this is cis people using the term in such offensive ways that trans folks just figuring themselves out start to despise it. Feels like that’s happening with gender affirming care. Which is really bad.
