Every time I see a photo of the Rose Garden-paved patio with the yellow umbrellas raised, I always first think I’m looking at a twirling teacups type of ride. Every single time. It looks so tacky & commercial. All Trump did was destroy an historic space & contribute to global warming.

You know, reading about Trump identifying a squirrel on a cognitive test & his boasts about “acing” “very hard” cognitive tests makes me shake my head. I just took my first such test at my wellness exam at age 67. It was a standard test given since I was over 65. The test is EASY!

It’s silly, but I’m watching the movie Crime 101. It’s charming to me that the grizzled cop played by Mark Ruffalo moves into his trial separation digs with his big old cat. In a lot of these kinds of movies, the guy has a dog, but this guy has a cat. I now trust him to be a good guy.

I was never in favor of abolishing ICE out right. It does do some important work, but it’s been infiltrated through the “hiring surge” w/lawless cowboys looking for black & brown people & their supporters to harass & harm. It needs to be torn down completely & rebuilt with compassion & empathy.

I just looked at a frame by frame video of the shooting. The officer purportedly “nearly killed” by the driver drew his weapon before she moved forward with her car. She was also driving so slowly that is she had hit him, it would have caused little injury. ICE are lawless thugs.

I just learned that Rob Reiner and his wife are dead. They were found at home with multiple stab wounds. Their son is a person of interest. This is horrible and sad. Rob Reiner was a wonder actor, a gifted director and just an all around good guy.

Chuck Schumer was very crafty regarding the vote on the Epstein files. By requesting unanimous consent, he made it so that the GOP could support the bill and survivors without having to affirmatively vote yes on the record. So we ended up with a unanimous vote in favor of releasing the files. Yay!

I just read that Kim Kardashian spent 18 hrs/wk studying law so she could sit the Bar Exam. As a lawyer who went to Georgetown, I laughed. It was quoted like it was some huge thing. I had my son during my 2nd year. I easily spent 40+ hrs/wk/yr studying law. Passed 1st time. Good for her, but still…
