I say this as someone who can get overly passionate in debates, becoming overly frustrated by the stubbornness of others. But the truth is, people don't like being force-fed facts - they prefer to learn them on their own. So if your goal is to change someone's mind, consider how you approach that.

When sharing educational articles that relate to controversial topics, I find it best to post a neutral statement - people are more likely to go into reading it with an open mind, and may be more likely to read it in the first place as they don't know your stance is in disagreement with their own.
