It seems to me that there is a massive hole in our climate models. Humans. As climate change progresses, how will this affect individual people? Societies? Governments? The social sciences may have clues to answer this, but they are massively underfunded.

For defence spending, anyone sticking to best case scenarios, such as "what if we aren't attacked" is seen as hopelessly naive and shut out from debate. For climate anyone who mentions worst case scenarios is seen as an alarmist and shut down. This is deliberate. The public is deliberately misled.
