We're still maintaining the game. We have bugfix patches in progress for some outstanding issues. We can't say anything concrete about content patches, but we're definitely considering them.

Yeah we gotta get those tricks out to players. There's no in-game data collection but my guess is Inferno was barely used. It's very weak unless you're doing combo bullshit with it that we didn't teach, like the whole point if it is that it jump cancels & we never use the words "jump cancel" in-game

had a pretty good feeling on achieving it thanks to some platforming shortcuts but i'm happy as hell with this result. still room for improvement but i'll probably be leaving it here for a bit 😌😌 i've ended up having a lot of fun with this game, thx for your amazing work @catbirdsoft.net sky high!

Lastly, here's our initial concept art for the handler/drone pair. The main details lost when going to final were her DHS logo (too obvious, we wanted to save that reveal) and her grey streak, which I liked but couldn't make work in the limited color scheme of her dialogue sequences.

Our initial idea was to make the Volckmann kind of a "special ops" mech, hence the gun and combat knife, but in practice that felt weird. Why give a mech a knife when it's already 12-18 feet tall? Instead, we leaned into the monster theming and made it a vulture with bladed "wings" and skull motifs.

It's been two weeks and change so whatever, spoiler barriers are down. Here's the concept art I did for the NGLM Volckmann, our game's final boss. Left is the final design, right is the initial sketch. I retained the idea of the "pilot in a jar" but adjusted pretty much everything else.
