Most of his interrupting g+ is coming from clearances and blocks — last-ditch defending. You can see how concentrated it is in and around the 18. He isn't winning the ball high up the field or completing a lot of interceptions, he's jumping in front shots at the last second.

I think this is a good case study for the limitations of int. g+. Int. measures on-ball def actions, while g- measures g+ conceded in zones the player is defending. You can see that N excels at int. g+. But he faces a slightly >avg amount of att. g+ and allows more than he should (that's the -0.04)

I get why fans are so mad at this. The guy has 5 straight seasons of 10+ g+a in all comps and has 12 in 19 this season alone. His radar looks like this. Not a player you want to see leave for such a low fee.

I also think it's important to note that this post is about, get this... not posting on social media. I'm not even joking. He's bragging about not using instagram.

Personally, I have always preferred spending more time building my life than documenting it online.

Whenever I explain this to people, they often look surprised.

But for me, the reason is simple:

I realised a long time ago that attention is one of our most valuable assets.

⚡ Every notification steals focus.
⚡ Every unnecessary comparison consumes energy.
⚡ Every distraction takes time away from building your own future.

I am not saying social media is bad.

It can be an incredible tool when used intentionally.

But I also believe that one of the biggest challenges today is that many people spend too much time following other people’s lives and not enough time building their own.
