Ok @h.olysh.it hear me out. Considering what these things have done to my lab computers ... Maybe we were a little harsh on VMs in the past. I mean our laptops not clusters - kubevirt's crushing it. But also people like me can "be Kelsey", I am learning K8s "for real" this time. Better legos.

Buildstream is a gamechanger, I've been replacing "big fat ubuntu" containers with distroless variants that are much easier to maintain. Bottom up with the full sboms and whatnot too, no -slim stuff, they just come out this way.
