Glitch! In Reality. A sci-fi horror novel about traumatized queers killing supernatural entities for money🙂‍↕️ #CastPit #W #YA #H #SF #LGBT #Blackwriters I love animation so, my series will definitely be animated in the same style as the Miles Morales Spiderman movies, it’ll be gorey n emotional.

A poster with an orange, pink and black color palette. There’s an orange aliens head peaking up. Stars in the background and the words. “Aug S & Co. present. An Animated series coming to you. Live, Now. Glitch In Reality. Enter and learn the unknown world.”

The main cast: Micheal B Jordan as Static, Big Boogie as Solace, Donald Glover as Golden, Maya Erskine as Dev, Cherise Boothe as Romance, Anika Noni Rose as Azalea, and Miley Yamamoto as Inez.

Art of my characters. Sol is a dark skinned black man with locks and vitiligo, Ro is a brown skinned gender-fluid person with red short locks, Stat has brown skin, freckles, and two different colored eyes: green and brown, glasses and a gap tooth. Azalea has dark skin, braids, a nose piercing and a metal arm. Dev has pale skin, short black hair and is Asian. And gold has brown skin, curly honey brown hair and brown eyes.

I have no visual representation for Inez she’s just an older rich bad bitch.

Just a warning about scammer who may like your post posing at literary agents or publishers during #CastPit. @RowanBrightonB has written an excellent 10 point thread on the matter you can find at this link and also listed in the graphic attached. x.com/RowanBrighto...

1) Firstly, anything asking for money is a scam. Real agents do not have reading fees or recommend paid editors. Any publisher that costs money is a scam called a "vanity press" or "hybrid press." If they're making money off authors, they have no incentive to make money off readers.

2) Make sure you're talking to the person you think you're talking to! If you can't find the professional's X account on their website or their agency's website, be very careful. Impersonating agents and then asking for reading fees seems to be a trend these days.

3) For real industry likes, we'll start with editors! When vetting a publisher or small press, start by looking at their books. How many people have bought them? What do their covers look like? Do they use AI? What do the reviews say and *who wrote them*

4) Take a look at the website next. Is it geared toward getting authors to submit or getting books to readers? Do they prohibit agented submissions? How old are they? How do they distribute books? Do they offer any paid services?

5) Rules for vetting agents are more solid. You'll want someone from a reputable agency who is a member of ALA and has either sold books like yours or who has strong mentorship from agents who have sold books like yours.

6) It's even better if the agent has previous editorial experience, has sold to Big Fives (or whatever the equivalent is for your genre!) and has a reputation for kindness and communication.

7) If an agency is also offering editorial, marketing, or other for-pay services, that's a huge red flag! (This doesn't necessarily apply to agents offering freelance services independent of their job at the agency.)

8) If an agent has no editorial experience, relevant education, or sales record, don't sign with them!! A bad agent will set your career back so much farther than having no agent--and I mean that.

9) vet all offers with Writer Beware, Publishers Marketplace, the Querytracker comments section, and the experts on r/PubTips

THE LESSER SOUL ⚔️Mix of Gunpowder, Dark, and High Fantasy 🧠Shared Body 📿Dark Goddesses 🗡️Rogue/Paladin Duo #CastPit #Q #F #DF #A

The hypothetical leading cast of THE LESSER SOUL consists of Kelsey Asbille as Elina (our thieving protagonist), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Gideon Starborne (the mythical hero trapped in Elina's mind), and Mia Goth as Ranna, High Priestess of the Stars (who accompanies Elina on her journey).

The hypothetical supporting cast of THE LESSER SOUL begins with Oscar Isaac as Rey (Elina's companion who helps her during the heist for the Soulshard), Jeremy Irons as Damon the Devourer (a major antagonist who seeks vengeance against Gideon Starborne), and Sean Teale as Stratton (Rey's little brother who's avoided the criminal life by becoming a surgeon's apprentice).

Our hypothetical supporting cast for THE LESSER SOUL continues with Monica Bellucci as Orthala (Nymarch of Knowledge and Shadows), Jodie Turner-Smith as Mezethia (Nymarch of Power and Victory, Damon's patron), and Alexandra Daddario as Tilyria (Nymarch of Love and Starlight, Gideon's patron).

The director of this hypothetical film would ideally be Guillermo Del Toro, whose works include recent hits like Frankenstein (2025). The storyline is explained in a short synopsis that unfortunately cannot fit in ALT text, but here is a one-sentence pitch: After a heist gone wrong binds a thief to the spirit of a long-dead hero, she must decide whether to sacrifice herself to destroy the cursed Soulshard or damn his soul to save her own.
