A black and white image of a girl with long hair looking down at a sliced off marble head of a man with a bloodred “tear”. Behind them is a collage. A girl sunken in water with a white dress flowing. A pearl with fire swirling around it. A boy, up in a tree, laying on a branch. A hilt of a jeweled sword, a stone bridge across a small river in a forest. A curled, pink, rosebud. An Agent's Guide to Careless Whispers, Romantic Suspense, a 97k word romantic suspense.
Various pictures of characters from the book.

Pitch & Plot and has the following text:

With their multiple homes and a business portfolio of luxury hotels, the Constantines' lives might be a world away from 29-year-old Listy Powers’ but Troy and his sister Olympia are like family, an unlikely yet close bond forged years ago at university. So when she learns Olympia, badly injured in a car accident, is back home on the Greek island of Paxos, Listy sets off immediately to see her.

Being at their villa, however, means unavoidable proximity with Olympia's very disapproving eldest brother whom Listy has always loved. When they first met 8 years ago, Kris was a married man with a pregnant wife; now he's a widower. But as the attraction they'd fought back then re-kindles, suspicions resurface about Kris' wife's death. Beautiful, manipulative Rianna had not been well-liked. Her speciality was ferreting out people's secrets. And everyone, Listy discovers, has something to hide.

As she unravels what happened to Rianna, the truth threatens Listy’s future happiness and the lives of those dear to her, and she must decide if crossing that line to protect someone she loves is a price she's willing to pay.

OPENING LINES - When she hears the footsteps behind her, she doesn't rise from the lounger or look round but just rolls her eyes and takes another gulp of wine, fixing her gaze ahead. Beyond the villa's perimeter wall where the wooded slopes fall away, the sea glimmers under the silver coin of a moon.
'I told you to leave,' she says, her voice slurred. 'It's over. There's nothing more to say.'
'I have plenty to say.'
Her head whips round then. She smiles.

SNIPPET - When she died,' Olympia says in a hard voice, 'I was relieved. All I could think was, we're free of her now. Now we can begin to be happy.'
Listy's face spasms. 'But you're not,' she says. 'None of you are. It scares me, Olympia, all this hate. So much hate. Troy has it too. It's like...like it's eating him up. Rianna's dead but she might as well not be, the hold she still has on you all.'
Olympia begins rummaging in the drawer again. 'You didn't know her. You wouldn't understand.'
'I want to. Tell me what happened the night she died. You said she and Kris were arguing.'

CHAPTER ONE

The rain made it easier to rob his grave.

My shovel carved through the sodden earth, the water contorting into murky veins around its edge. Desperation drove each labored thrust, the burning ache in my muscles but an afterthought to the prize that lied in wait. Even the Valera Forest held its breath; the fog thick enough to smother the night's whispers. All was silent save for the spilling of soil under the deluge that drenched us.

Us.

As I lifted my gaze to the boy standing across from me, I found that word had lost all semblance of warmth.

A plus-size baddie dog sits to survive after her ex leaves her with rent she can’t afford—then she meets a guy in the personal care aisle who’s everything her ex wasn’t: loyal, patient, and in desperate need of a dog sitter…which might just ruin her plan to swear off love forever🐾 #QuestPit #A #R #Q

Title page for an agent's guide to KNOW YOU BETTER, adult plus-size romcom. Green background, two character stock photos, photos in polaroids to of tattooed hand holding, a corgi + golden retriever, and a Red Wings game

"Know You Better" one-paragraph pitch: After her boyfriend of six years moves out and leaves her with rent she can’t afford, retail manager Sydney Bennett is barely hanging on—juggling long shifts and a side hustle dog-sitting for clients with the worst-behaved pets in Metro Detroit. When she meets Owen Sutton in the personal care aisle after a rant about two “demonic Pomeranians,” he’s instantly charmed—and in need of a sitter for his own, much better-behaved dogs. What starts as a business arrangement turns into something gentler and deeper: a slow-burning romance between two people still healing from betrayal. But as Sydney faces losing her apartment and Owen’s past betrayal comes back to haunt him, they’ll have to decide if the safety they’ve found in each other is worth risking their hearts for. On a green background with two stock images of the characters

A sample of writing on the left from Know You Better, as well as 4 images of comp titles, including their book covers and information. Savor It by Tarah DeWitt for the sizzling banter & tension. You With a View by Jessica Joyce for the emotional exploration of starting over. Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez for acts of service as a love language. And Curvy Girl Summer by Danielle Allen for the plus-size confidence.

Tropes of "Know You Better" and character images, stock, along with information about the characters. Sydney Sage Bennett: 30, Aquarius, Retail Ops Manager. Empathetic. Competitive. Amazing cook. Loves hockey. Sarcasm as a shield. Pilates girlie. Brunch is her love language. Poor spending habits. Younger sister. Sworn off relationships to focus on herself. Owen James Sutton: 31, Cancer, National Events Manager. Patient and loyal. Flirty. Loves hockey. Bottles everything up. Former company co-founder. Amazing dog dad. Acts of service. Takes care of his elderly neighbor. Older brother. Prone to emotional spill-overs.

Daredevil: Blind romantic lead

Tristan & Isolde with HEA
Lovers kept apart due to political wedding engagement

Lower half of "sun diamond pendant" faded in background of quartering of image.

What if we have a princess that isn’t beautiful, short,
delicate, weak and helpless?

What if the princess saves the romantic lead from a life of prostitution?

What if we have a princess who is short tempered, can
kick ass and swears?

What if Tristan & Isolde had a happy ending instead?

What if we have a story that criticizes sexually repressive
patriarchal societies?

They're written by poetry & undone by betrayal. At 17, Lysandra vanishes after the greatest heartbreak of her life. At 22, they're both rain-soaked under the flickering lights of Scotland's streets. Some scars never fade and some loves never die. 🖤 #questpit #R #Romance #NA #Q #amquerying
