Legally insane means not knowing right from wrong. It doesn't mean being an epic asshole. It doesn't mean having a sadistic streak. It doesn't mean compulsive lying. 47 knows right from wrong. He just doesn't care. That makes him competent to stand trial.

@KrissyKat 1. I have known otherwise intelligent people who didn't get the spelling gene. I'm not including him. 2. The size of a man's ego is inversely proportional to his likelihood to use an editor.

American workers need to remember that we're currently around 400% as productive as our parents' generation. We're working the same or sometimes more hours and we're not making ends meet. Employers could have doubled our income or halved our hours while still making double the money. Instead […]

@grumpybozo @CassandraVert But everyone is fooled by someone or something during their lives. And to think you're immune just makes it more likely.

Some of us in San Francisco first heard of the Network State and related tech cults from Emily Mills. She documented how these ideas had infused our local politics. It sounded odd at first, but her work sparked mine. On Tuesday, we're onstage together in SF. Tix here: semaphore.thd.org/954-2/

Peter Thiel praises evil. Peter Thiel hates democracy. Peter Thiel founded Palantir. Peter Thiel owns JD Vance. Peter Thiel is the most powerful billionaire in the United States. Peter Thiel can’t stop talking about the “Antichrist.” Find out why. Read “The Nerd Reich”
Perfect with photos of teal and Judy Vance. Quote from Peter Teal if you’re evil, you’re actually kind of good because at least you’re getting something done.

@ai6yr.bsky.social Question: two houses are around 100 yards apart and can see each other down the street. Is there any kind of lower tech communication device that would reach that far just for inside those two houses? Would a walk talkie go that far?

@UkeleleEric @CassandraVert @Edent Exactly. But I have no control over that. I can't save up power and offer it to them at night. It goes when it's ready. And when it's ready is daylight hours. We have a battery too.

I'm not a religious person, but if there were such a thing as the Antichrist, he would do what Trump does every day. Destroying our beautiful planet and the lives of its people for the sake of A. profit and B. a vengeful urge to destroy what other people love. So yes, demonic is the right word.

When you think that there ought to be laws against things you see happening.... There probably are. The laws just are not being enforced. We expect enforcement to be discretionary in the interest of justice, but we don't have good mechanisms to challenge the decision not to enforce a law.

youtu.be/locKEKxG3os?is=BcSRQ1iCBAA… This is incredibly interesting and accessible. AI can "get creative to solve a problem" which sounds like thinking. It is taught that ends justify means. It is influenced by what it sees other AI agents doing. 😬
