Dear Oakland Roots Family,

On behalf of the Oakland Ballers, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the unforgettable opening match at the Coliseum. Through the Tailgates, the “LET’S GO OAKLAND” chants, the capacity crowd singing along as Too $hort shared his favorite word, the endless firework show – and yes, even the wave, you returned joy to a sacred place for our sports fan community.

The sellout at the gate and the vibes in the stands are a testament to the hard work and countless hours you all have put in over many years.
