I have a vivid memory of this. I grew up in a nearby neighborhood in West Philly. I was 3 and at my grandparents' house. We heard/felt an insane BOOM. Everyone went outside. Someone picked me up and put me on their hip and the people on the block stood outside and watched smoke billow into the sky.
