What is a
phone or email zap?
A phone (or email) zap is a coordinated campaign where many people contact a target (such as a company, agency, or representative) to apply pressure and
demand action on one issue.

How can I organize one?
Agree on a target and an issue to collectively press for.
Gather scripts ahead of time.
Coordinate a time when everyone is available to call/email. Hang out IRL or in a voice call together!
Log any feedback and share updates with your fellow zappers!
Keep it up until demands are met! This is a marathon, not a race.

And most importantly... celebrate your wins!
