This week on #RunawayToTheStars: Oh golly, so that's what Mel's surprise was! Catch up: runawaytothestars.com Read ahead: patreon.com/jayrockin

Idrisah: Well… In my opinion, you should… She glances back at Cheevwut. Idrisah: (ASL) Also quit. Especially after that shit with Mel. Talita: (ASL) Maybe… Not now, soon after you, Gillie, AND Cal. Management is angry, I think. Ohwitiil walks past the cubicle. Ohwitiil: IDRISAH! Keep packing, I’ve got someone who needs your desk tomorrow! Maybe this one will actually stick around! Talita and Idrisah exchange a look of knowing exhaustion.

Talita: I’ll stop distracting you. Idrisah: Seeya later… Talita waves goodbye to Idrisah and exits the recycling plant, looking absentmindedly at her tablet while walking through the personal exit into the Shikaviil Port dome. An odd echo to her footsteps makes her look up in confusion. She glances around, trying to parse the sound.

Walking past the edge of the sound wall, Talita sees the source of the noise. Far across the dome, near the apartments, a group of centaurs walk on the circular road. There appear to be five adults, four smaller and one larger, as well as four children half their height. All of them have half-lidded eyes and implacable expressions. The four smaller adults are dressed in loose belted leather overpants on their rear four legs, with fabric undershirts that are neatly tucked into their waistbands to leave their upper torsos bare. They wear decorative fabric collars and necklaces adorned with dangling beads, strings, tufts of feathers, and pleating. In their manes they have tucked ornamental combs made from metal, bone, feathers, and beads. Three of them appear to be light in color with thin dark stripes and dark irises, and one is darker with broad stripes and light irises. All have a bar piercing through the upper portion of their trunks, and the oldest of the lighter individuals has two bars. They speak amongst themselves. The four children wear identical dark capelets with tassels that appear to be furred tails. Three are light in color, one is darker. They look around with wider eyes, and one curls their trunk up. They stand close to the small adults, who put reassuring hands on them. The largest adult stands in front of the group, speaking to an enthusiastically smiling Mel and politely smiling Tod. They are finely dressed in a tasseled skirt that covers their lower body and overpants, with a collared cape featuring long hanging panels with embroidery and a tasseled scallop pattern, with a brooch of a carved animal's head at their throat. A chatelaine with a six-legged turtle-like creature hangs from their belt. They are white with black stripes and dark facial markings that extend to the tip of their trunk, which has two bar piercings. The right side of their face is an eyeless crater of scar tissue, with bone missing from the crown of their head to nearly their nostril, an injury that on a human would have been instantly fatal. The large centaur turns their single dark eye and makes eye contact across the distance with Talita, who stares back in dumbfounded horror.

The @cartoonist.coop is 3 years old now!! 🥳🎈 To commemorate this occasion, I made a short comic sharing some of my experiences and thoughts. I am eternally grateful for this space and all the work they do 💖 #comic #comicoop

This is page one of a black and white comic with a simplified, cartoony style by the artist Mycorob. He depicts himself in this comic and will be referred to as Robin.

Inkling and Nibford are sitting on top of the first panel. Above the first panel it says the title of the comic: Happy anniversary!

Panel 1: Robin is sitting at his desk and drawing. He wears glasses, has short hair, and is wearing a dark hoodie. He turns around and speaks directly to the reader and says: Oh hey there! Did you know that the cartoonist cooperative is three years old now?

Panel 2: Robin points to the left and says: I found them through a good friend. Said friend is depicted as an anthro skink and poking out of a small round panel in the corner. Above the round panel it says the name Hye.

Panel 3: Robin continues: And I joined them last year in August.

Panel 4: Robin is standing next to Nibford and Inkling and pointing toward his own speech bubbles. Nibford and Inkling have very muscular arms in this panel and link their hands in solidarity. Robin continues his speech: First and foremost, The Cartoonist Cooperative is a member-driven organization working to improve and protect the labor rights of comic industry workers worldwide. But they also do quite a lot more!

Page 2.

Robin is jumping into the page with Nibford in his hands. Inkling stands at the front and raises his fist. Everyone is smiling and ink is spilled everywhere. Behind Robin is a crowd of people who are smiling and interacting with each other. Robin continues his speech about the cartoonist cooperative: Through their discord and the forum, I can talk to my peers and give or receive direct help. In my short time I already got tons of tips and learned so much!

On the left are three panels that list examples of things that Robin has been assisted with or gotten advice on.

The first one shows a pile of comic pages and says: Direct feedback on pages.

The second one shows an iPad next to a graphic display and says: tech support.

The third one shows a woman holding her phone to her ear and says: How to write alt text.

Page 3.

Panel 1: Close-up of Robin. His eyes are closed and he is thinking to himself: But the most important advice that I got so far was.

Panel 2: Shows Robin grabbing a version of himself from 6 months ago and shaking him. He yells at his old version: Make comics! To get better you simply have to make comics! Stop waiting!

Panel 3: Close-up of Robin looking at his phone and looking really worried. The background is darker now. The text in the panel says: Especially during times like these. With the rise of Artificial Intelligence and more and more censorship.

Panel 4: Robin notices a crowd of happy people coming toward him. It breaks him out of his bad mood and he looks toward them. The text continues: Finding community and supporting eachother is more important than ever before.

Panel 5: Robin is lying on his side on the ground and smiling. Inkling is sitting on his knee and doing a thumbs-up. Nibford is sitting next to them and resting against Robin’s leg. Robin says to the reader: So you can join the cartoonist cooperative now if you make comics in any capacity.

Inkling adds to that: You can also join as a volunteer!

The end.

After a long, hard day of masking their autistic traits at work, all Sage wants is to act natural at home. Unfortunately, their neurotypical gf takes the un-emotive version of Sage in the worst way in @troubledminnesotan.bsky.social's story of misunderstandings. www.ohjoysextoy.com/sweet-transp...

Sweet Transparency by Elise Schuenke, published on ohjoysextoy.com/sweet-transparency-elise-schuenke on January 20, 2026

Elise Schuenke draws in a manga-cartoony style with a pastel purplish-bluish color tone over a broader spectrum of colors.

Lanna pauses her game and sets her controller on the coffee table, turning her girlfriend, saying "Sage... Can I ask something?"

"Hm?" Sage replies, engrossed in their book.

With worried eyes, Lanna asks, "Are you mad at me?"

"PPfft!!" Sage spits their tea back into their mug in shock, but keeping their eyes lowered.

"When you came home, you didn't smile and your voice was so flat." Lanna hurriedly explains. "And earlier, when you sat down, you didn't say anything!"

Panicked and embarrassed, Sage thinks to themself, "Boy, that DOES seem like I'm mad at her!!!"

"Did I eat the last bean burrito...?" Wonders Lanna morosely.

"NO, NO, you're fine, Lan!" Sage interrupts, reaching out a hand to reassuringly grip her shoulder.

Sweating with regret and anxiety, Sage continues, while still looking into their tea mug, "Lanna- Ugh, I can totally see how you saw that."

"I'll always hear you out, y'know." Lanna's voice says over the view of Sage's reflection in their tea.

"I know. I love that about you." Sage replies, keeping eye contact with their mug reflection.

An image of Sage appears overhead, showing them with a neutral face and holding one of the smiling, blank masks in front of them while a sea of menacing yellow eyes scrutinizes them. "Being autistic, I feel like I have to be ultra expressive with my face and voice so people feel comfy around me." They narrate over a scene of them performing on a stage. The performing-Sage gesticulates dramatically while holding their smiling mask up while they are surrounded by coworkers and the general public that smile at them approvingly. "Masking, for me, is pretending I'm others' version of normal."

"Wow, that sounds exhausting!" Lanna frets next to Sage on the couch.
A pink banner unfurls across the bottom of the page, stating "Read the rest on Oh Joy Sex Toy.com"

One of my favorite scenes from the books #art #comicoop #thewitcher

This is a Witcher fancomic depicting a scene from the second book.

Page 1.

Panel 1: Geralt and Yennefer are on Thanedd Island at a Banquet at the academy of Aretuza. They are standing in front of the buffet in a big ballroom. Yennefer is looking at a big plate of crab legs and says: Give me a little Salmon, Witcher. And some Crab.

Geralt points at the crab legs and says: they were probably caught a month ago and it’s really hot. Aren’t you worried?

Panel 2: Yennefer smirks and replies snarkily: These crabs were creeping along the seabed this morning… teleportation is a wonderful invention.

Panel 3: Geralt grins and says: Indeed! It ought to be made more widely available.

Panel 4: Yennefer blushes a bit and looks angry. She reaches out her hand and says: We’re working on it. Come on, give me some.

Panel 5: Geralt blushes a bit and smiles at her.

Panel 6: He hands her a crab leg.

Page 2.

Panel 1: Geralt looks fondly at Yennefer and says: I love you, Yen.

Panel 2: Yennefer raises an eyebrow. She is eating her crab leg and says: I said drop the ostentation…

Panel 3: Geralt! She suddenly yells out. It’s the first time you’ve said that!

Panel 4: They start to bicker and Yennefer corners him.
Geralt says: It can’t be. You are making fun of me.
Yennefer replies: You used to think it but now you said it!
Geralt raises his hands in defense and says: Is there a difference?
Yennefer yells back: A HUGE ONE!

Panel 5: Geralt looks like a sad puppy and whispers her nickname

Panel 6: Yennefer is clearly blushing. She says: Don’t talk with your mouth full! I love you too.

End of description.

SILVER & IRON: Part One Ashley Lovell is a hopeful young werewolf who thinks he may have finally met a vampire willing to cooperate with him to eradicate a supernatural disease - only for both men to learn firsthand that your day can always get worse. 40+ pages, all in this thread 🧵🌙 #Silver&Iron

Comic cover titled “Silver & Iron” in all caps, “part one”. The title takes up the entire cover and is superimposed over a single figure standing in the centre of the page, a young but strong-looking man with light skin, visible chest and arm hair, and a beard which tapers into points at his chin and his cheeks. His hair is jaw-length and the top half is tied back, though some strands have come undone. He has upturned eyes and a moderately long nose with a slight bend in the bridge. A scar runs through his left eye leaving the pupil permanently dilated, making it appear darker than his right eye. He looks at the viewer with a sense of determination and grit, wiping blood off his chin; more blood stains his shirt, untucked and half-unbuttoned to expose part of his chest, and there are more traces of blood on his left hand which holds a crudely-hewn dagger.
