I saw someone seriously suggest that Geller should have put out some statement without naming the victim. Some kind of “just so you know I raped someone but I won’t tell you what happened or how violent it was” but it’s public information. Even if he didn’t name the victim, people would dig!

We have no idea if the victim has moved on, if they were coerced into an agreement with the school. We have no idea if the victim wants this to be lasting because while they may hold resentment still it’s just as likely they may see it as needlessly reopening wounds.
