I really do think tech crossed a line at some point between "helping you do the things you want to do" on the one hand, and "helping you do the things tech wants you to do" on the other. At this point, we're all contorting ourselves to live how the tech industry thinks we should be living.

Waiting for the day that my Very tall and athleticly built cis daughter is abused in public because some bigoted numpty thinking she's trans and considers that a problem. Transphobia hurts all women. But it shouldn't take that argument to treat trans folk with dignity.

I got an unexpected kiss on the cheek from a non-verbal student at work at last week. It was very special to have such a sweet, gentle interaction with a kid who so often has Very Big feelings. It's a wonderful to have a moment of connection like that & know you made someone feel safe ❤️
