Chrysalis Beeswax, Bedsheet 2025 The bed as a cocoon, the pupa in transition, the ill body and its bed are often one. I continue to synthesize the chronically ill body with its created environment to be safe, comfortable, and thrive. The bedspace is a portal. #Mold #Sculpture #DisabledArtist

Excavate Glass, ceramic bits, pillows 2025

A life cast of a leg casted in glass. Ceramic bits are embedded in the glass of the toes. The foot is broken from the ceramic bits and have visible fragmentation in the glass. The leg rests on a pile of several pillows that are uncovered.

A Resting Place for an Aching Body, 2025. Porcelain, Pillows, bed sheet, pillow sheets. Nicer detail shots from my qualifier exhibition!

My MFA Qualifier Exhibition is coming up soon! February 17 - 21, 2025. Reception on Friday, February 21st from 5-7pm. The qualifier exhibition is the equivalent of a second year review, defending my work to qualify for my final thesis exhibition next academic year.
