P6 Suggestions? Their main office is in Seattle, their office that corresponds (when they choose to do so) is in California. There is no way I see to contact either office to discuss this. I emailed the Calif office that I will not sign the ghost document. No response x 3 days. Suggestions?

P3. The firm sounds like a JG Wentworth type of firm where they charge a certain interest rate for securing and sending you the portion of the settlement (after they deduct their share). The lawyer's office previously sent me partial payment through their own bank, giving direct disbursal to me.

part 2. Attached was a form asking for my signature to transfer the settlement to them. Their FAQ hyperlink did not function, and the attorney's office is asking me (and others) to sign a document without knowing the details of payment, how much, how often, and at what cost.

Part of a large (to me) settlement from a law case stretching back years. Lawyer gets 50%, which I understood going in. Ltr from their office saying that they had retained a "trusted settlement administration company". I researched what little I could find out about them.
