We should treat genAI in publishing the way you’d treat a vampire trying to enter your home. You never give it permission to enter. It doesn’t matter if it‘s polite or makes generous offers or it’s *only* going to take the ones *you* don’t care about. It’s here for your blood. Don’t let it in.

Just because important things are obvious, doesn’t mean it’s unimportant to say them. Social media is a tool, and like any tool, its benefit or harm often depends on the knowledge, training, and intent of those who make, sell, buy…and handle it.

This is just despicable by MS NOW, which has accepted stolen taxpayers dollars for 38 illegal ads. Give me a break with this bullshit statement too. So your hosts are on air all day saying this is illegal while you are taking the money and running the ads? Just gross.

Had a lovely time last night sharing from my novel, Candlelight Bridge, wi the amazing artist, Gus Harper, & his guests. Gus not only creates these stunning paintings but also reinvigorates creative community with his regular salons. A meaningful night of music, words, food…& connection
In front of a stunning backdrop of surreal paintings in dreamy deep blues, blacks, and flutters of white…Author Cara Lopez Lee talks about her novel, Candlelight Bridge, with artist Gus Harper at his art studio as a small salon audience listens

A few days ago my kid had a lot of questions about 9/11, so I thought watching a documentary would be a good learning tool. I WAS MISTAKEN. I was not prepared for the footage and we had to turn it off. Today they read this book and it is definitely the better choice. #booksky
My hand holding the book, I Survived The Attacks of September 11, 2001 By Lauren Tarshis. The author’s reasoning for writing about 9/11 in this series.

“WHY I WROTE ABOUT SEPTEMBER 11

It was not part of my original plan to write about September 11, 2001, in the I Survived series. But over the past two years, I have received more than a thousand e-mails from kids asking me to write about this topic. At school visits, there are always kids who raise their hands and ask, "Will you be writing about 9/11?"”
