We buried Nonni today. It was a beautiful day. It's what she wanted - all of the family gathered together on a beautiful day. The family is huge. I think we buried her next to her sister. They lived next to each other and raised seven boys - Nonni's 3 and Sisi's 4 - together, so it makes sense.

Made za lemonade. Violets are pH reactive, so za simple syrup I made wizh zhem will turn pinky purple (or just pink) when it meets an acid, in zhis case lemon juice. I had to water it down, because lemonade, but is pink. (Labeled witch juice because is for Beltane ritual tonight!)

A jug with some lemon juice, and a jar with a blue green liquid, which is violet simple syrup.

The same jug as before, but the lemon juice is now vivid pink, after having added the violet simple syrup.

The lemonade is in a different jug, labeled Witch Juice.
