Have you ever heard the wildest illegal aliens in Europe's forests? 👽🦌 Sika deer in the rut – sound on! 🔊 Red deer roar, sika stags whistle, squeal, scream and moan. The overlay shows their calls as a spectrogram: colour = pitch, brightness = loudness. 🧵

Running #Deepseek with its Multimodal model Janus-Pro-7b locally is really crazy. I show this camera trap picture and ask: "Explain this picture. What animal species do you see?" See the answer in the follow up post. #tech4wildlife
The image shows a red fox (Vulpes vulpes) in a natural setting, likely a forest or woodland area. The fox is standing on a fallen tree trunk near a body of water, possibly a small stream or pond. The environment appears to be a mix of bare trees and some greenery, suggesting it might be late winter or early spring. The timestamp on the image indicates it was taken on March 18, 2022, at 7:46 AM.
