In most computers, the tower is a wind tunnel, so insulation is not a concern. Fans pull cooler room-temperature air in through the front of the case, push that air over the electronics, and then expel the now warmer air out the back (and often top) of the tower. Blocked fans are a much bigger risk

@support.blizzard.com Guildmate is having a minor Launcher issue - a "This folder doesn't contain the correct version of this game." pop-up when they open the Launcher. Retail WoW launches fine. Nothing looks off for other games. How can they identify which game needs folder path correction?

Yes, Transform/Imposter copy any existing stat changes from the target Pokemon, so Ditto would have gained the effect of Mega Gengar's Nasty Plot. What's more, it copies all the IVs except HP. This means your Ditto and the Mega Gengar were tied for Speed stat. Attacking first was by random chance

When an expansion resets the board - like with major talent system changes, et al, such as in Cata and DF, I've felt like those were "Warcraft sequel" moments and not "expansion building on what came before" moments. Our characters just happened to continue in that space instead of starting anew.

The interesting thing about mind probes is its using technology to replace a biological trait. Which implies the knowledge is still there (even if forbidden/restricted), but perhaps ~2000 years of genetic drift weakened or removed the capability.

The 4/4 weapon layout for a Science ship is definitely interesting and unexpected, but I also wish this were more common, at least on Event Science ships. This gives players more flexibility to fly them with cruiser-like builds if they're not fans of "space magic" or ripping holes in spacetime.

This week's neighborhood quest. We have one guild member who could pick up "Lost Animals," but none of our others have reported seeing it available. WebAPI shows "Lost Animals" in my own completed quests even though I hadn't done it this week, only a prior week's. Is this a bug, and known?

Originally I’d have said i was mostly anticipating the crock pot lid from Decor Duels, to use as the underside of manually floated Sin’dorei decor. But the void manawyrm with Midnight Ren’dorei-colored armor from Void Assaults has jumped ahead of that, as its a mount matching an alt’s mog.

I've gone through that hassle for non-competitive reasons. eg: If breeding for Shiny, might as well also breed for IVs. "Soloing" event raids in SV also often required competitive-like builds While I expect IVs to continue in the RPG titles, Champions has indeed made them irrelevant for Competitive

The main story of S/V - Juliana or Florian attending the Academy, befriending Nemona, Arven, and Penny, as well as Carmine and Keiran, and helping them with their quest paths - all happened already, and Horizons is set after those events. It just seems that they somehow didn't do a 100% playthrough

We had a guildmate suddenly DC and found his account suspended right as raid started last night. While paywall is brought up often, most of the disappointments I hear are the limited Pokemon available (more added over time) and similarly limited items available. With Champions being the platform for competitive moving forward, limits and paywalls are making potential players disenfranchised.

There was previous speculation/rumors that Skydance may be looking into in-house production of 'Trek instead of utilizing a 3rd party production company like Secret Hideout. If true, while it may take a few years to get something new started, it shouldn't be as long as the gap between ENT and DSC.

And even the complaints that new shows require spending money for a streaming service subscription isn't that different from needing a cable TV service in the '90s. And in some cases, UPN (for VOY and later ENT) was an addon/"premium tier" and not part of a basic cable TV package.

It was still being taught in the early '90s, as I remember excelling at grammar but not vocabulary definitions/spelling. I understand basic grammar and "sentence diagramming" were phased out of the grade school experience around the '00s.

That was my read as well. Pressing old ships into service that were inactive during The Burn, and keeping them running for the 120 years since. Especially with no infrastructure to build replacements. Also would also explain the lack of appreciable damage to the Starfleet ships during the "battle."

The transporters have had recent... "developments" via Picard Season 3, that they don't directly process the entire quantum structure during transport. "Common transporter code" that all living things share is stored and used during transport, to reduce computational requirements.

Star Trek is often at odds between technology and narrative. Narratively, they need to show the crew is in danger in a way that is understandable to the viewing audience, so recognizable injuries, exploding consoles, and ceiling cordry rocks. Even if they don't make sense in extended worldbuilding.
