Going to ramble for a bit because I'm excited. I didn't set this goal at the start of the year. Just an idea that popped into my head halfway through the year when I saw how many books I had read. But I decided I was going to try to finish 50 books this year, and tonight I did just that. (1/5)

When you start a work call and get the usual "How's it going?" Or "How are you doing?" Social niceties at the start of the call, and you are sick and feel like garbage. But nobody wants to hear about that and saying "not great" makes the situation awkward. So you just say "I'm alright" and move on.

Y'all are lucky I don't know how to knit and have too many hobbies already/not enough time to do it. Otherwise I would have an army of adorable little knit animals and no one could stop me. For now the cats and possums I've found from dealers at conventions will have to do.

Finally filled out my bookshelf, guess that means it's time to buy another 😅 I've got a life goal to one day have a library with built in bookshelves, floor to ceiling, filled with all my favorite books. The journey to get there, reading all those books, is the best part.
